Going nowhere or somewhere?
Going nowhere or somewhere?

It just occurred to me that the reason why we can get frustrated and feel stuck in life at times is that we are not offering back to God the gifts, talents and abilities He’s given us. Or it could be that we start feeling like we are the ones who are so smart and take the credit for our successes rather than give God the glory. Every good and perfect gift comes from our Father above (see James 1: 17).
His plans are not our plans; His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. So many times we’re waiting for a change to come or a breakthrough of some sort to happen, when all the while God is waiting for us to surrender it all back to Him including our lives.
The Father is totally selfless, and Jesus was a servant to all while He was on the earth. Likewise, when we make up our minds to serve Him and others selflessly, there is no telling exactly how He will bless and use us. However, it will all be good and for His glory - not ours!
"For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you
did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though
you did not?" 1 Corinthians 4: 7
