My thoughts on captialism versus socialism...

Something to think about…
Mary Ann Wray

From what I've learned from History, socialism is the hallmark of tyranny and the portal to communism…

Definitions are important to know and understand…

Hallmark: a distinguishing characteristic, trait, or feature

Tyranny: a rigorous condition imposed by some outside agency or force

Portal: door, entrance
especially : a grand or imposing one

Socialism: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

Communism: a: a doctrine based on revolutionary Marxian socialism and Marxism-Leninism that was the official ideology of the Soviet Union
b: a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production
c: a final stage of society in Marxist theory in which the state has withered away and economic goods are distributed equitably

Treachery: violation of allegiance or of faith and confidence : treason

Capitalism: an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market

Our country was established on a capitalistic economy and free trade. Capitalism is not a dirty word. It is what made America the most powerful and free nation in the world (at least at one time). Now it is one of the weakest economically, militarily et al.

Capitalism enables people to work, earn, buy, sell, trade, and have opportunities for self advancement without fear of government interference that would inhibit them from gaining wealth, making a living, and building a strong savings account.

Socialism slowly causes people to depend upon their government for their main source of income, livelihood, benefits et al. It enables an attitude of entitlement. It’s strips individuals of their rights and freedom to buy and trade freely and fosters an attitude of dependence upon others.

It is what tyrannical governments thrive upon to create an attitude of dependence upon the government on its citizens. This only feeds into their power and control over the masses. It is a very dangerous form of government.

It’s a mob type government that seeks control over every thriving aspect of the economy,: banking, news outlets, entertainment, supply and demand, etc. It just causes those in power to become wealthy while the middle class is diminished and eventually disappears.

It is not a benevolent social service helping the poor either. You can’t strip one group of people of their wealth, and give it to a different group of people using the collective taxes from a certain group of people. That is treachery against our Constitution!

I don’t know about you but I am grieved, saddened and angry about what is happening to America. I’m not trying to be political just realistic!
