When Everything that Can Be Shaken is Being Shaken
When Everything that Can be Be Shaken…
Mary Ann Wray
Friday night in a dream the Lord gave me Psalm 75: 2. I had no idea what the verse was. When I awoke, I immediately went to my Bible and read the following:
“At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity."
"When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn; do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.’” For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another. For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs. But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up."
Psalm 75 verses 3-10
Brothers and sister in Christ...the Lord is doing a severe shaking in the earth and in the Body of Christ. That same day, March 31, a violent earthquake rocked Myanmar, causing extensive damage in one of the world’s poorest countries. The initial death toll was above 140 and officials stated today its over 2,000. We must pray for our neighbors there. We must continue to pray for revival across the earth before the Lord returns.
Birth pangs are everywhere and becoming more intense and frequent. The wheat and the tares are ripening together and the chaff is and will continued to be winnowed away. All the exposure God is allowing to happen in the Leadership of the Body of Christ through the outcry against their malfeasance and abuse is heightening and resulting in a separation and necessary division. It is a pre-final judgment separation between those who really speak on behalf of the Lord and those who speak on behalf of themselves to build their own empires. He is separating the wheat and the tares that have grown up together. The season and time of separation and division has begun. Just like pre-season games in sports, God is giving the church and the world time and space to repent and rehearse what needs corrected before His return and final judgement.
He is allowing a separation to occur between light and darkness, truth and lies. We must pray to have eyes to see, ears to hear and hearts to discern what the Father is doing. There are those who continue to be offended at the truth and at truth tellers. Some continue to hurl unwarranted accusations against those who have counted it all loss and are speaking up and out. They love not their lives unto death so to speak.
The accuser of the brethren is at work against them while they clearly reveal what is happening among corrupt leadership according to 1 Timothy 5: 19. All this is happening while the Lord sits in the Heavens laughing at the wicked who plot against the righteous (Psalm 2: 4). Clearly, the principalities and powers in heavenly places are being shaken and raging in hatred against prophetic voices crying aloud and sparing not.
Satan's Kingdom and agenda is being interrupted. It seemed that it flourished for decades under corrupt leadership but God will not be mocked. He will have His way and use ordinary people to bring about extortionary results with the truth and proof that Jesus Christ is Lord. God is and will continue to prune, purge and purify His Bride before His return. The demarcation of truth and light verses corruption and darkness will continue to happen to give the naive, ignorant and rebellious time and space to see what the Lord is really doing and repent. He is giving more time, space and grace for others in leadership to tremble at the Word of the Lord and godly fear. Those who need to check their own motives for ministry that perhaps they've neglected to examine in a long long time will do so with all humility and "weep between the porch and the altar" for the sins they see being exposed (Joel 2: 17).
Because leadership has largely failed to meet God's heavenly standard laid out in 1 Timothy 3, 1 Peter 5, James 3: 1 and Titus 1, to live righteously and speak the whole counsel of God, the Lord is using ordinary people, without big names, titles, wealth and popularity to speak the truth. It's up to every child of God to be humble before Him and pray for the discernment to see the wolves masquerading as sheep and abusive leadership humbled in ways they've needed to be humbled for many years.
We all must repent of our own selfishness, sins and pride, lack of zeal and trusting in flesh more than Him. We must ask the Holy Spirit to give us the power and strength to live righteously in an age where good is called evil and evil called good. We must ask for the power not to be offended at those God is using to expose unrighteousness in ministry and corrupt leadership. It is true that there are those speaking out who motives aren't pure or are immature in how they speak out, but Paul pointed out an important point as follows:
"Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will. The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice." Philippians 1: 15-18
We need to be so in love with Christ and the Gospel of Truth and Grace that we rejoice in the fact truth is coming forth unequivocally regardless of who is proclaiming it. Remember saints, that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. He is the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, not a so called Bishop, Pastor, Prophet/ Prophetess, Apostle, Elder, Evangelist or Deacon so and so.
Jesus is calling and wooing His Bride back to HIMSELF through this shaking. We should all take this shaking as an solemn warning and opportunity to return to our first love and forsake all the man worship. Get back in the Book and let Jesus revive and awaken your soul to intimacy with Him. May what is being shaken awaken us to HIM once again...

To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands. |
2 ¶ “‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. |
I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary. |
4 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. |
5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. |
" Revelation 2: 1-5
