 New Thought, New Age and the Nuisance it all brings...

You can never understand the mysteries of Christ with mere human intellect. It is only through the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ that such understanding can begin to be achieved. 

When man attempts to understand mysteries in Christ (that we will be learning about through all eternity) in his/ her own intellect and reasoning, it's the same as eating from the wrong Tree (knowledge of good and evil). It will produce bad fruit and eventual death. 

New Thought, New Age, and other gnostic extra biblical teachings have crept into the church because the enemy tempts people to believe that Christ isn't enough. This type of teaching suggests the same as what the serpent said to Eve. Did God REALLY say….? He planted a seed of discontentment with what God had provided and led her to believe there was more she had to “know.”

New Thought, New Age, and Dominionism all suggest that there’s more God wants you to discover and learn that can only be achieved through "special revelation". Trips to Heaven, multiple conversations with "angels", meditation by looking inward, “christ” consciousness, appearances of Jesus bringing "special messages" and the like are satan's specialty. There’s nothing new under the sun.

“I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ. 4For if someone comes and proclaims a Jesus other than the One we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the One you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it very easily.” 2 Corinthians 11: 3-4

Somehow the devil convinces people that there is "more" they need to know other than what God has revealed through His Son and the Word of God. They are deceived into believing without even recognizing it, that Christ's atoning work on the cross, the Blessed Holy Spirit of Promise and future promises of a restored Heaven and earth need to be hastened with man's help.Through New Age, New Thought, Dominionism and Decreeing man-made declarations and other extra biblical “mysterious” revelations, they teach we bring the Kingdom of God on earth here and now. 

They teach we can tap into the “hidden wisdom” of God. But if they would read their Bibles from cover to cover in context they would see that  The Kingdom of God has already come:  the first time through Christ in salvation, healing and deliverance. The Future Kingdom of God WILL come...the Kingdoms of THIS WORLD SHALL BECOME the KINGDOMS of our God and of His Christ. That won't happen until Jesus returns as Judge and King of Kings to complete creation's full redemption from the fall and the curse it brought.

“Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”  And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,  saying, “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign. The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.”

Revelation 11: 15-18

We ought to stop listening to all this gnostic stuff and doctrine of demons. Get in the Book! Ask Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth. That’s His MAIN PURPOSE! Believe God's Word! JESUS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

“But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth…. write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you.  But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.”
