Let there be Light!

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6

The law of material nature states that light or heat must be an essential factor in all physical changes. It is the “first thing” required in instituting a new process of nature. 

In the beginning, on Day One of creation, God created day and night by separating the light from darkness. The very first thing God spoke in the process of creation was, “Let there be light,” then he separated the two calling the light day and the darkness night.

According to the laws of nature, light was essential for everything else that God created thereafter to bring about the changes in the earth that at that time, was void and formless.

Likewise, according to God’s spiritual laws, without light we walk in darkness. Without light, we remain unchanged. Jesus is the light of the world. Knowing him is necessary for the change that must be brought about within our inner man so that we can be born anew (John 3).

If we are unable to distinguish light from darkness in the realm of the spirit, and have not received the light of Christ Jesus, we will walk in dark deception and wind up in the darkest place of all. 

Let there be light in your heart today by receiving Christ as your Lord and savior, repenting of your sins, that cause you to exist in a state of darkness. Come to the light so you can live in it for all eternity!
